Homemade Rice n' Roni
Easy to make; use a can of chicken or beef broth or 2 cups water and some kind of *bouillon of your choosing. Can add finely chopped fresh parsley instead of dried. After cooked, can add finely sliced green onions, or choose other add-ins.

2 T. butter
1/2 c. spaghetti, angel hair, or **vermicelli broken in less than 1/2-inch pieces
3/4 c. white long grain rice
1 can broth + water to equal 2 cups
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. garlic granules
1/4 tsp. onion granules
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes

Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Add pasta and cook until golden (about 3 to 5 minutes). Add rice and cook 1 more minute. Stir in broth/water and seasonings. Bring all to a steady simmer. Cover pan and turn heat to low. Cook about 15 minutes, all liquid absorbed. Turn off heat. Let sit covered 5 minutes. Take off lid and stir with fork. Ready to eat.
