item, but I did see it for sale at a few places online.  It is not a

long-term storage item, but nice to have on hand.

Refried Beans

from dried refried beans in #10 can....

After you make this a time or two, you'll figure out the consistency you prefer....

One secret of success here is to add some salsa or hot sauce according to taste....

Boil 1 cup of water.  Add and stir in to fully boiling water: 1 c. dry refried beans

and 3 to 4 T. salsa (or up to 1 tsp. hot sauce).  Cover, turn heat to lowest, simmer

5 minutes.  Take pan off heat.  Stir. Ready to use.
