Put the dry hash browns in 6 cups of boiling water, turn heat to medium and simmer 6 minutes. Add the freeze dried ground beef and dried onions, cook for 3 minutes. (Will need to be 1 cup of liquids left after cooking, if more, drain some off; if less add some hot water).

In a small bowl: combine flour, sage, curry, salt, and chili powder: stir into the hot mixture until thoroughly combined. Mix in ketchup. Cover, simmer on lowest heat for 20 minutes. Uncover and simmer about 10 more minutes or as needed for a thick sloppy joe-like consistency.
Ready to serve on buns.
