One method with honey, one without....

[Caution: honey should not be fed to children under age 1].

Nice high protein snack to keep on hand instead of buying expensive protein bars.

Peanut Butter Snack Balls
Peanut Butter stores for about one year. Have a rotation plan for all short term items.

about 1/4 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 c. creamy or crunchy peanut butter

1/4 c. honey
about 1/3 c. quick oatmeal**

Mix all thoroughly; then add more oats** just 1 T. at a time as needed; mix thoroughly.  Form bite-sized balls.  Put in covered container, and keep chilled.

**could add some coconut in place of part of the oatmeal....chop the coconut so it's fine pieces

[Or use cooked well drained wheat (pat it dry on paper toweling) in place of oats; no water]

Note: Though many people like the peanut butter honey taste, some can't eat honey. Here is a honey free method:  2 T. dry milk, 4 T. powdered sugar, 1/2 c. peanut butter, 1 T. water, and quick oatmeal as needed, form bite-sized balls, then roll in powdered sugar. Keep chilled.
