Dry Milk Sugar Cookies (no egg)

1 and 1/2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

2 T. dry milk powder

1/2 c. butter, melted and cool to room temp.

3/4 c. sugar

1/4 c. water

1 tsp. vanilla

In a bowl: mix together dry flour, baking powder, salt, milk powder

In another bowl: mix melted butter and sugar, beat well to combine.

Then add water and vanilla; mix well.

Stir wet ingredients slowly into dry ingredients to a crumbly mixture;

knead with hands to form the cookie dough.

Cover and refrigerate/chill for only about 15 to 20 minutes (do not

chill for more time as the dough may harden).

Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Form dough into 1-inch balls (use your palms to make smooth balls)

and slightly press to flatten

Preheat oven to 350°

Bake 10 to 12 minutes

Keep in mind that the cookies may appear too soft when you take them out of the oven and

remove them immediately to a rack to cool, but will be just right when completely cooled.
