Peanut butter is from legume family and peanuts are high in plant protein and in manganese (this is a trace mineral of which we need in small amounts to help with bones, brain, nerves, metabolism of nutrients, plays a role in collagen production).

A serving of peanut butter is 2 Tablespoons (size of ping pong ball) and will have 7 to 8 grams of plant protein. Half the fat in peanut butter is monounsaturated, the same kind of fat found in high amounts in olive oil. Some peanut butters have added sugars and even added vegetable oil: read the labels for content so you are buying the kind you truly want.
